I am working with a small meat processor who are on a mission to bring ethically harvested and sustainable sourced wild game meats to popularity across Australia find a manager who can use their meat industry experience to help them embark on their next chapter of growth.
Managing a small high performing team including 2 boners, 2 trimmers/packers and an administration officer, you’ll be responsible for directing day-to-day processing activities whilst adhering to safety and quality requirements. We are looking for someone that has 5+ years’ experience as a butcher (or boner) and has previously operated commercial equipment including thermoformers and vacuum fillers in the past.
It is a full-time role, offering $90,000 + super (but if you demonstrate that you can hit the ground running, we are willing to be flexible). In addition, relocation assistance is available for those not local to Beechworth.
The location itself is ideal for agrowing family or anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle and live in Victoria's High Country
