Boning Room Senior Supervisor (Export Lamb)

Managing a small team on 24 for an export lamb & sheep exporter located in Southern Western Australia, I am looking for someone that can implement positive change through their strong leadership abilities whilst also having great communication skills to ensure systems and procedures are being followed and targets are being met.
The Role:
As the Boning Room Senior Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to manage the operating activities of the boning room floor to ensure that the needs of team members, suppliers and customers are met whilst achieving optimum yields and cost effectiveness. Further responsibilities will include
- Ensuring that all product, food safety obligations are communicated
- Promoting a safe working culture amongst all staff
- Ensure all legislative requirements' are being met
- Scheduling production to meet customer specifications
The Requirements:
We are looking for a supervisor that has worked in meat processing prior and can really own this role and support the rapid growth. The following requirements will also be needed.
- Previous experience in a similar role, within a processing plant
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven people management skills
- A drive for continual business improvement.
- High motivation levels with a willingness to work
