The Company:
This is a great opportunity for you to join a well-known, Australian food manufacturing company and utilise your strong background in Human Resources. They are going through a transformational stage at the moment and are looking for a HR Officer to support the team and grow with the company.
The Role:
As the Human Resources Officer, you’ll be reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager on site whilst also being supported by specialist HR coordinators. With over 500 employees, we are looking for someone that has the ability to support senior management and staff on recruitment processes, employment conditions, policies, procedures, processes, Awards and relevant legislation. Other duties will include
- Administration of HR records and systems
- Reviewing and updating policies, job descriptions, and other related HR documentation
- Providing award interpretation and advice to Senior Management and respond to day-to-day HR queries from staff
- Performance management
The Person:
The preferred candidate will be resilient, have a broad range of HR exposure and experience in industrial environment such as food, manufacturing, transport or logistics. The following will also be advantageous;
- A sound knowledge of Human Resources Management and award interpretation
- Strong food or meat manufacturing background is highly favourable
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal)
Salary:
Located in Inverell (NSW), they are offering salary packages from $65,000 - $75,000 + super
