Boning Room Manager – Meat Processing | Regional Victoria
Orion Search is currently recruiting an experienced Boning Room Manager to join a well-established meat processing operation in regional Victoria.
This is a key operational leadership position responsible for the day-to-day performance of a high-volume boning room, with a strong focus on production, yield, throughput, labour performance, quality and safety.
We’re looking for an experienced meat industry leader who understands the demands of a fast-paced processing environment and can lead supervisors and production teams while continuing to improve operational performance.
The Role
Working closely with the broader site leadership team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the boning room
- Managing supervisors and large production teams
- Driving yield, throughput and labour performance
- Production planning and meeting daily targets
- Maintaining high standards across quality, food safety and WHS
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
- Developing supervisors and building capability within the team
About You
We’re particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have strong boning room or meat processing experience and have progressed into leadership positions within the industry.
- You may currently be working as a Boning Room Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager or senior Boning Room Supervisor and be ready for your next opportunity.
- Experience across beef, lamb or pork processing would all be highly relevant.
- Candidates currently based elsewhere in Australia or New Zealand who would consider relocating to regional Victoria are also encouraged to get in touch.
